🤠 The Weekend Drop | This Weekend in Cheyenne

A look at events happening in Cheyenne this weekend.

First Look
On the Radar
CFD is officially here, and so is the heat, so plan accordingly: water, shade, sunscreen and maybe a small emotional support fan. Start Friday at Railspur, where 10 Days of CFD kicks off at lunch with food, drinks, and daily specials with Tie-Down Turkey Legs as the featured menu item. Later, Fridays on the Plaza goes electronic with MC4D for an EDM night at the Depot, then The Lincoln After Hours launches its CFD week with country artist Jackson Dean at 10 p.m.

Saturday starts with the Cheyenne Frontier Days Grand Parade rolling through downtown at 9 a.m. You can view the parade route here. After that, head indoors for the Cowboy Market at the Ice & Events Center, where local vendors, Wyoming-made goods, CFD finds, snacks and family-friendly shopping are all waiting in the sweet, sweet air conditioning. Railspur also adds an art show from noon to 8 p.m. with local and regional artists, tattooers and makers.

If CFD is not your entire weekend plan, totally allowed. Mike Morris plays Black Tooth Brewery Saturday at 6 p.m., which sounds like a much calmer plan.

Soak in the sights and sounds of CFD Weekend #1, and enjoy. See you out there, and seriously, drink some water!
