On the Radar
Friday night, Whose Live Anyway? takes over The Lincoln bringing the popular improv show to downtown. Remaining tickets are getting low, so this is one to grab sooner than later.

Saturday, restock for the week at the Cheyenne Farmers Market, and later, make your way to August Dueling Pianos at The Metropolitan Downtown for drinks and tons of singalongs.

Looking for something a little different? The Historic Atlas Theatre is screening Harold Lloyd’s 1923 comedy Safety Last! with live music by Dave Niemann, on both Saturday and Sunday. Finally, check out the New Frontier Show and Auction at the Events Center at Archer featuring Western art, rustic décor, and collectibles all weekend. Have a fun weekend, and see you out there!

Hell on Wheels Rodeo and Chuck Wagon Dinner | 5:30 p.m. Dinner / 7:00 p.m. Rodeo | Laramie County Fairgrounds, 3803 Archer Pkwy | $30+ | The Hell on Wheels season rolls on with a chuck wagon dinner followed by an evening of rough stock, fast runs and local rodeo action.

Live Music: Scott Rupe | 6:00 p.m. | Black Tooth Brewery, 520 W 19th St | Free to Attend | Start the weekend with some live music from Scott Rupe.

Whose Live Anyway? | 7:30 p.m. | The Lincoln, 1615 Central Ave | $78+ | Featuring longtime improv favorites Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, Joel Murray, and Gary Anthony Williams, this show brings the improvised comedy right to downtown Cheyenne.

Dinner Club Is Back for September
September’s dinner is set for Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. Take the quiz, save your seat and we’ll match you with a small dinner group somewhere in Cheyenne. You won’t know the restaurant until the morning of dinner, and during the event everyone gets the location for the optional after-party.

You’ll pay for your own dinner and drinks at the restaurant.

Rooted & Local Market | 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. | 5807 Converse Ave | Free to Attend | Shop local plants, handmade goods, sweet treats and one-of-a-kind finds from small businesses and makers around Cheyenne. The first 25 guests also receive a gift bag.

Southwest Pottery-Inspired Tangle Tiles | 10:30 a.m. | Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, 710 S Lions Park Dr | $25 | Spend the morning creating Southwest pottery-inspired designs using the meditative Zentangle method.

Dog Days of Summer Art Reception | 1:30 p.m. | Cheyenne Artists Guild, 1701 Morrie Ave | Free to Attend | Check out the latest local work at the Cheyenne Artists Guild, meet some of the artists and vote for your favorite piece for the People’s Choice Award.
