America’s 250th Takes Over Downtown

Cheyenne is going big for the Fourth this year with America’s 250th celebration bringing a full day of music, food, ceremonies, family activities and fireworks to the Capitol area.
What’s happening:

• America’s 250th Parade at 9:00 a.m.
• All-day festivities around the Capitol grounds
• Live music including Missy Jo, Jalan Crossland and the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra
• Speaker series, food trucks and family activities
• Historic Governors’ Mansion events, State Archives tours and the High Iron Rail Car
• Fireworks over the Capitol at 9:40 p.m. (**There is no fireworks display at Frontier Park this year, only at the Capitol.)

Festival of Patriots | 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Wyoming Historic Governors’ Mansion, 300 E 21st St | Free to Attend | Celebrate America’s 250th with live music, 1770s costumed reenactors, crafts, period parlor games, guided mansion tours, a food truck and a few surprise history lessons along the way.
