🎸 Upcoming: Cheyenne Presents is taking the spirit of Fridays on the Plaza indoors with Thanks for the Memories, a brand-new free concert series running September through May. The series kicks off on Friday, September 26 as Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum rock band Fuel takes the Civic Center stage. Known for hits like Hemorrhage (In My Hands) and Shimmer, Fuel dominated rock radio in the late ’90s and early 2000s with their blend of powerful vocals and hard-driving guitars. Back for its 15th year, The CHISPA Festival (formerly the Cheyenne Hispanic Festival) returns with a day full of music, food and tradition in downtown Cheyenne. The Depot Plaza will come alive with music, dance and family fun all day long, starting with the Tamale Fun Run in the morning and rolling into performances by Grupo De Como La Flor (Mexican folk dancing), Las Piñatas and Las Angelitas Unidas y Los Rayos del Sol. Festival favorites like the churro and jalapeño eating contests, El Grito and the always-popular dancing horses return, alongside local food vendors, art exhibits and cultural displays. The evening wraps with live music downtown before the after party at Railspur. Don't miss this full day of sabor y tradición! Sat, Sept 6th, Depot Plaza, 115 W 15th St, 11:00 a.m., Free to attend.
