The Dead South is back and brings their dark, off-kilter take on bluegrass to The Lincoln this June. The Canadian four-piece has built a loyal following with a fast-moving blend of bluegrass, folk, and dark Americana and have achieved gold and platinum records and stops at stages like Red Rocks, The Ryman, Glastonbury, and the Grand Ole Opry. Their music is somewhere between old-time country and gothic campfire tale, mixing banjo, cello, sharp harmonies, and stories full of ghosts, trouble, and betrayal. A low number of tickets are remaining, so if you plan to take this one in, get yours now! Sun, June 21, 8:00 p.m., The Lincoln, 1615 Central Ave, $47.33.
